Pillowball top mounts are essential to a high performance suspension system. The spherical-joint pillowball allows for a much less compliant connection between the body/chassis and suspension. By stiffening this connection, the driver feels more connected and in tune with the vehicle and is able to make steering corrections with much more confidence.
The Standard Pillowball allows for camber adjustment on most vehicles, while the Advanced Pillowball will allow for both camber and caster adjustment. TODA Advanced pillowball upper mounts are designed for the TODA coilover system and improve responsiveness for any application. These mounts allow for both camber and caster adjustment for the ability to dial in your suspension geometry to your needs. These mounts replace the stock rubber or plastic mounts to reduce flex and improve performance. The angle of the contact patch of the tire is changed improving handling when installed on the coilover.
TODA Pillowball Mounts are designed to work with TODA coilovers. We can not guarantee nor endorse the use of our pillowball mounts with any shock absorbers other than TODA shock absorbers.

DTE Systems developed the PedalBox in order to improve response in modern cars. The PedalBox is an additional control unit, with four user-selectable programmes, that increases throttle response by removing delays in the accelerator, enhancing driveability.

All drivers face a wide range of driving conditions and situations. The PealBox allows drivers to choose between four levels, each with three seperate modes offering improved response. The PedalBox includes different programmes tailored to meet the most drivers range of driver's wishes. The driver can select the programme most suited to the driving situation.
Reduced response time. More dynamic.
Moments of delay are a thing of the past. The signal is immediately followed by the response, giving the driver the feeling that he or she is accelerating faster. However, the torque remains the same. It is merely the response ratios that have improved.

Once responsiveness has improved, driving is a lot more fun. Plus, quick acceleration without any delay gives drivers the feeling of being in better control of their vehicle.

In order to give the driver even greater feedback, the ergonomics of the PedalBox have also been improved. Instead of the uni-coloured indicator lights that had been built in up to now, now different-coloured lights provide information on the PedalBox' current programming.

This means that the throttle response is adapted with precision and you can get your own customised PedalBox. In addition, you don't even have to go take your car to the garage once; instead, DTE Systems does all the work for you via remote dial-in over the internet.


Sport Mode

In the Sport mode,throttle response in improved slightly.Sport increase throttle response by up to 16%,making it suitable for most situations.

Sport Plus

For sporty drivers, we recommend the SPORT+ mode. The SPORT+ mode incorporates optimal fuel consumption across the entire rpm range and is perfect for merging quickly with road traffic or when overtaking is required.

ECO Mode

The ECO mode is suitable for the stop and go of city traffic. It guarantees improved torque in the lower rpm range while the response is programmed to achieve economical fuel consumption.

OFF Mode

We recommend the OFF mode for driving on very slippery road surfaces brought about by ice, snow or heavy rain.

PEDALBOX : Response

The PedalBox is located between the accelerator pedal sensor and the control module and works by capturing the accelerator pedal signal and transforms it. Lots of manufacturers offer similar functions via standard "sports buttons". The PedalBox reduces the pedal travel necessary in order to reach a "throttle wide open" state (full throttle response). This allows the driver to exploit the full potential of the engines.

Explanation

The "Throttle Response" curve shows the speed at which an engine responds to the driver's pressing of the accelerator. Deficiencies are evident here, especially at times of strong acceleration.

Throttle response has less to do with how much power a vehicle has but rather how long it needs to fully release this power, with petrol engines frequently performing better here than diesel ones in this regard.

Usually, a naturally aspirated engine is more powerful than a compressor or a turbocharger, a fact which is however not often noticed as the cars are given different response times by the manufacturer. But even when the same engine types are compared, ultimately a difference in response will be determined, as there are a wide range of factors that influence the response of an engine.
The throttle response of a stick-shift or a semi-automatic car can be easily enhanced simply by changing gears – in the case of a small car trying to overtake another car for instance, by moving from 5th to 4th gear.

Most vehicles are equipped with a drive-by-wire system. Here, acceleration is achieved by way of an electric signal and not by the familiar Bowden cable, something that most people are not aware of. This system is called ETC or ECM. The problem is that these systems often suffer from a significant signal delay, which the PedalBox can compensate for perfectly. This means that more energy is available to the car once again.
